Is a rotary air motor or pneumatic cylinder be placed?
Can I put a tire rotation in specific positions so I added some type of reactions to a proportional valve and then the same question to an air motor? What I need is something that runs only 1260 degrees and I can anywhere in between. I would use a proportional valve pneumatic actuator but I'm not sure if an engine could be used this way. Yes pnumatic engine can be positioned especially if the output shaft is geared down by a slower RPM. You can use a single cam and follower to operate a shutoff valve to stop the engine when the tree reaches a certain position. A rotary actuator is a little trickier because it is designed to be in a position either and the position of the tree gets depends on air pressure and the amount of opposite charge of the tree. To obtain a position through specific you can use a mechanical stop to limit travel. A separate actuator controls the position of the stop or by limiting or allowing complete Voyage Voyage actuator.
